Brooklyn - Friday Evening FHT
Whether it was by a phone call, carrier pigeon or just plain handwavey goodness, the word got out that there was a Brooklyn in the multi-verse that was in trouble. Lucky enough there were a few good denizens of Fandom who were willing to help.
Coming through the portal right by the Brooklyn Bridge, it was readily apparent that portions of Brooklyn was in chaos. Buildings and people were "glitching" where the images of them shifted colors and shapes. For the buildings this was causing instabilities. For the people it was causing them pain.
And then there were the gremlins. They were now running around Brooklyn doing their biting thing on the populace of Brooklyn which added another layer of chaos to a borough that was already seeing enough weirdness.
Time for you all to big damn heroes, right?

Re: Save Brooklyn! - Coney Island
What? He did this for a living.
Re: Save Brooklyn! - Coney Island
Clearly they wanted a ride.
Re: Save Brooklyn! - Coney Island
Somehow he managed to twist and move as he spoke, looking like he wasn't breaking a sweat, and yet somehow all those hotdogs went soaring just past him.
"Just as ugly, though."
He drew his guns and fired. Fast.
Re: Save Brooklyn! - Coney Island
And some of them were stupid enough to even rush at him.
Re: Save Brooklyn! - Coney Island
He drew his sword, pushing a pulse of power through the blade-- and then brought it through the air in a series of heavy slashes. That translated into waves of power, cutting through the rushing gremlins and getting a bunch of the hotdogs too.
"Right, time to take this up a notch," he decided, leaping up and onto one of the rollercoaster's support beams.
Re: Save Brooklyn! - Coney Island
But there were still a few now throwing harder things than hot dogs. A couple of them were rocks but that shouldn't be too hard to overcome.
But there were still more gremlins and some might even get close enough to Dante to try and bite him.
Key word being try.
Re: Save Brooklyn! - Coney Island
He whacked upwards with the sword, catching one of the rocks and sending it slamming back at one of the gremlins.
What? He made his own fun.
Re: Save Brooklyn! - Coney Island
Most of the gremlins were finally getting smart enough to pull back. A bunch of them were clumping together at the top of the roller coaster.
