The Warehouse: Early Monday Morning
Oct. 27th, 2014 12:13 amSunday night the cub and the puppy had fallen asleep cuddled up on a couch. They were still covered in glitter and had exhausted themselves by chasing each other around the warehouse for most of the weekend.
However when Barry awoke this morning he was happy to find that he had returned to his normal human form. He was also aware that there was also a naked girlfriend right next to him.
Now... normally this would be a happy occasion for a teenage male. However Barry was also aware that this would probably freak said girlfriend out and possibly cause most of the island to freeze up a couple months before winter hit.
So he was just going to try and quietly disentangle himself from Elsa before she woke up and see if he could rectify the situation before the island turned into a glacier.
Fandom citizens can thank him later if it works.

Date: 2014-10-27 11:47 am (UTC)She made a soft noise in protest, a sleepy mumble that really didn't translate neatly to anything at all, and she frowned a bit. She wasn't going to stop the warm thing from moving, no, but she was going to voice her disapproval so that it was known to the world.
Let it be known, Barry: Mmmnnnuh.

Date: 2014-10-27 12:41 pm (UTC)After carefully moving away from Elsa (And holding his breath when she mumbled, Barry took a couple of moments to figure out what the best plan would be for this situation.
The first thing? Getting a blanket and covering Elsa in case she did wake up.
Next order of priority? Pants for Barry. Followed by rummaging in his pack for Elsa's bracelets and the spare set of clothes he'd been carrying around last week while she had been a polar bear.

Date: 2014-10-27 01:49 pm (UTC)The blanket wasn't trying hard enough.
It was the slight rustling sound of Barry going through his bag that really started to rouse her, though. Too many things going on in the room for too long, and this time, instead of an incoherent mumble, Elsa's mumble actually had things like syllables to go with it.
"Nnn... B'rry?"
She wasn't opening her eyes yet. Opening her eyes meant conceding to the fact that she was awake.

Date: 2014-10-27 01:52 pm (UTC)Success! Bracelets. Barry padded over quickly and quietly so as not to further wake the sleeping beauty.
Wait. Wrong Disney movie.
"Shh. Don't wake up yet," Barry said softly as he ever-so-carefully attempted to snap the bracelets on Elsa's wrists. "Still early."

Date: 2014-10-27 02:15 pm (UTC)"Ah, the sky's not awake yet, then," she murmured, wriggling in a little more under the blanket. A moment later, while her sleepy brain worked on catching up with the world at large, she added, "... What're you doing?"

Date: 2014-10-27 02:39 pm (UTC)He let out small sigh of relief as the last bracelet went on her wrist. "Just putting your bracelets back on," he said quietly as he tentatively went to stroke her hair with his hand. "Do you remember last week at all?"

Date: 2014-10-27 02:50 pm (UTC)Glitter, probably. This place really, really liked their glitter.
"And... racing?"
Okay, she was waking up a little more, now.

Date: 2014-10-27 02:58 pm (UTC)He looked down at his chest which was still pretty glittery.
"We also went to homecoming."

Date: 2014-10-27 05:02 pm (UTC)Very nearly sitting up before realizing that she was wearing little more than a blanket, two bracelets, and a smile.
"Oh."
Right. That was probably one of the reasons her brain had decided to stay muzzy for as long as possible, right there.
"Um..."

Date: 2014-10-27 05:08 pm (UTC)Of course Barry couldn't help but smirk a little when he saw the expression on her face.
"Don't fucking freak out me," he said cheerfully. "I have clothes here for you. Been carrying them around all week in case you transformed in public."
no subject
Date: 2014-10-27 06:03 pm (UTC)Deep breath. And then she was carefully sitting up, making sure to bring the blanket along with her.
"... Can I have my clothing, please?"
It would help a lot with the not freaking out thing.

Date: 2014-10-27 06:09 pm (UTC)He walked back with a pile of clothes. "So I thought you might be a little anxious. Would you like some tea?"
no subject
Date: 2014-10-27 08:27 pm (UTC)Yes! That was a brilliant thing for Elsa to cling to, and she was going to do so! Fervently!
"Yes, tea would be lovely, thank you!"
... Okay. She was freaking out a little bit.

Date: 2014-10-28 10:54 am (UTC)The shower helped a little, though, as she watched the glitter rush in little streams down the drain, and somewhere during it she realized that she could have spent far more time appreciating her boyfriend's bare chest than panicking, and apparently this was what freaking out cost her. But at least she had tea to look forward to.
She was much more calm when she came out again, dressed, with her hair braided and then wound up in a haphazard bun, held in place mostly by some careful tucking and a prayer until she could find some hairpins for it.
"The shower," she announced, "was a good idea."
See? Not freaking out!

Date: 2014-10-28 01:16 pm (UTC)"Good. You look happier," Barry said with a grin as he held out a hot mug of tea. "But I'm guessing you'd like something other than a fucking bucket of fishies for breakfast."
no subject
Date: 2014-10-28 01:46 pm (UTC)Besides glitter. The less said about that, the better.

Date: 2014-10-28 02:17 pm (UTC)"Well then the only thing I have to offer you are some pop tarts that Jeremy left here when he visited or grits," Barry said holding up a box and also pointing at his old food replicator. "I'd have something healthier but I turned into a fucking dog. That's going to be my excuse."

Date: 2014-10-28 02:25 pm (UTC)Because she'd turned into a bear. Those breakfast plans.

Date: 2014-10-28 02:30 pm (UTC)And with a grin he picked up the homecoming crown that was sitting on the counter and put it on his head.
"King Barry of Homecoming, your majesty," he said doing a little curtsy. "Keep in mind wherever we go, it's going to have to stand up to my royal standards."
no subject
Date: 2014-10-28 05:32 pm (UTC)She would have pointed out that kings didn't tend to curtsy, but this conversation was ridiculous enough as it was without her taking her cues from the etiquette books.
"And has King Barry got any preference this morning?"
