"Wouldn't that be easier with samples or something?" Kathy asked. "Seeing if there's a change on a cellular level? Or...something?" She knew a fair bit of science, but this island often left science curled up and crying in a corner. "I mean, it's more than just a physical or physiological change, but it doesn't make sense!"
