The Not-so-abandoned Warehouse: Friday Evening

Barry was not nervous.

Correction: Barry was not admitting to himself that he was nervous.

Which is why he had made sure the big screen monitor was functioning in perfect honor about a dozen times in the last half hour. He also made sure the snacks he had purchased (various types of chocolate) were in perfect organized order and had tested the popcorn button on the microwave about five times to make sure the popped vs un-popped kernels was a good ratio.

To sum up: Barry was totally nervous.

At some point someone was eventually going to show up but until then he was trying to make sure that everything was perfect.

"Yes," Joker blurted. "That. Yes." He nodded vigorously. "I mean, I'm still pretty pissed, but... well, the first step is admitting you have a problem, right? Good boy!"

"You got a right to be pissed," Barry replied honestly. "And yeah, I fucking screwed up. I figure you, Eleanor and few others looking over my shoulder will keep things fucking straight with me. I haven't worked out the details yet but we will have our first company meeting soon."

He looked briefly over his shoulder to make sure Elsa hadn't gotten up and left and then turned his attention back to Joker.

"Are we good for the moment? Because you're like the third fucking visitor I've had tonight."
